I don’t care how old you are, your mom will never stop being your mom. She will always have the urge to ask you if you’ve showered or eaten enough meals, because you know, she loves you or whatever. It seems like age is just a number with this mom and son duo and it will warm your heart after you read it!
Meet Ada and Tom Keating who are the most inseparable mom and son I’ve ever seen. Ada is 98 years old and still in rare form. She moved nursing homes just to be closer with her eldest son, Tom, who is 80 years old.

Tom came to Moss View care home in 2016 due to needing more support. His mother Ada was living at a different home at the time, but after a year she decided to come to Moss View as well to help support Tom.
Before retiring, Tom was a painter and decorator at HE Simm building services. But he never married and it seems he’s had the most important woman of his life, Ada, around since, well forever.

Ada was once a nurse at Mill Road Hospital which no longer exists, but she never stopped being a nurse it seems. That caring nature has been there her entire life, especially now as she checks in on her son all the time.
According to Liverpoolecho, Ada says that, ““I say goodnight to Tom in his room every night and I’ll go and say good morning to him.
“I’ll tell him I’m coming down for breakfast. When I go out to the hairdressers he’ll look for me to see when I’m coming back.”

“When I get back he’ll come to me with his arms outstretched and give me a big hug. You never stop being a mum!”
Are these two just the cutest? I feel like Netflix should jump on this reality show asap! Especially after hearing what Tom had to say about the matter.
“They’re very good here and I’m happy to see my mum more now she lives here. She’s very good at looking after me. Sometimes she’ll say ‘Behave yourself!’”

Other than Tom, the rest of the family loves that the two have each other at Moss View. Debi Higham who is Ada’s granddaughter and her family loves to come visit the power duo.
She said that, “There’s no parting them! It’s reassuring for us that they’re both getting looked after 24/7.”

Philip Daniels who is the home’s manager said that:
“It’s very touching to see the close relationship both Tom and Ada share and we are so pleased we were able to accommodate both of their needs. It’s very rare to see mothers and their children together in the same care home and we certainly want to make their time together as special as possible.”
He concluded with, “They are inseparable.” Yeah you could say that one for sure!
