I’m not sure what is real anymore and what is “science.” I mean we’ve all heard it for years that people with blue eyes are quote on quote more attractive…but it looks like science has given us proof?
I don’t think any of us blue eyed people ever doubted it but now we have evidence!

Even though it was like the old saying, “Blondes have more fun,” we needed scientific proof to show us blue eyed beauties are more attractive.
Soooo welcome in PEIMAG, who brings us this study. They state:
“Whether it is natural or if the many Hollywood productions involving blue-eyed actors had something to do with this, we do not know?
What we do know is people with blue eyes are generally considered more attractive than people with dark colored eyes.
Many studies have been performed and they all concluded the same thing – a majority of all people consider those with blue eyes to be slightly more attractive on average than people with brown or hazel eyes.”
It seems like the study found things other than just pure sexiness of our blue-eyed friends. You can thank your mom and dad for these, apparently there are 13 different gene mutations that go into having blue eyes.
Who knew?!

Here are just a few of the study’s findings:
First off they can tolerate pain better…
“According to a study conducted by the University of Pittsburgh, light-eyed women handle pain better than women with dark eyes.
Unfortunately, nobody really knows why this is or how this applies to men with similar eye color.
As a matter of fact, there is quite an urban legend associated with the fact that women with blue eyes go through childbirth much better than women with dark eyes.”

Then apparently they are good at strategic thinking (This is true I can vouch for this one)
“Scientists believe eye color may determine to some extent how much a person achieves in life.
Studies have shown a majority of people with blue eyes are better at matters involving strategic thinkers than people with dark colored eyes.
They’re also more likely to sparkle academically than people with brown eyes for example, yet nobody really knows why. On average, blue-eyed people excel in activities which require self-pacing and strategic thinking.”

And lastly, blue eyed people aren’t fans of change…
“Researchers at Berkeley University have found blue-eyed children are wearier of trying new things than children with darker colored eyes.
It seems young people with blue eyes are also much shyer than brown-eyed people in the same age group.
Again, nobody really knows why this is, but it definitely has something to do with the genes which determine a person’s eye color to begin with.”

So there you have it! That’s what you have to be jealous over blue-eyed people and if you are one of us, congrats you good looking person!
