There’s no denying that The Big Bang Theory is one of the most polarizing shows on the planet these days. Let’s take a look back at some of the best cameos on the show!
1. LeVar Burton
LeVar has been in a couple of Sheldon’s web series “Sheldon Cooper Presents: Fun With Flags.”
2. Elon Musk
Elon came on a Thanksgiving episode and Howard meets him while they are both serving Thanksgiving Dinner to the homeless.
3. Bill Gates
In this cameo episode, Gates meets Penny to potentially partner his company along with Penny’s pharmaceutical company.
4. Leonard Nemoy
Here, Nimoy plays a Spock (of course) action figure. Here he helps Sheldon figure out how to deal with guilt after breaking a valuable toy that was given to Leonard.
5. Buzz Aldrin
This was one of the minor cameos, but Buzz Aldrin shows up in a Halloween episode handing out candy to trick-or-treaters.
6. Steve Wozniak
Sheldon kind of meets Steve when Sheldon is using his “Shelbot” to get around. He then asks guy that co-found Apple to sign his Apple II.
7. Stan Lee
Penny tries to make it up to Sheldon that they missed the autograph signing so they go to Stan Lee’s house. He eventually gets the autograph but it’s sadly on a restraining order…
8. Bill Nye
One time Professor Proton went to Leonard for advice instead of Sheldon. That was a poor move because Sheldon got revenge by hanging with Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill!
9. George Takei
George shows up in a dream of Howard’s along side Katee Sackhoff (bonus cameo!) as well! In the dream Howard comes to the realization that he still has feelings for Bernadette.
10. Stephen Hawking
He made a number of appearances on the show before his death. Once he appeared it was well known that Sheldon viewed him as a mentor and looked up to him. Didn’t we all?
11. James Earl Jones
Of course this pop culture icon comes into the nerdiest tv show around. Sheldon runs into Jones and they become way too good of friends and eventually ding-dong ditch at Carrie Fisher’s house.
