Don’t you love having access to your aunt’s Netflix. Or maybe you are that aunt, either way that means you are watching Netflix and it can be a vast sea of options.
So I figured you might need a helping hand in deciding in what you want to watch. So until we have a dang randomize button, just sit back and read some opinions about these Netflix shows. They all have come out in 2018 and I know it’s felt 7 months of 2018 since it’s like 25 degrees everywhere…but it’s only April.
So here are the nine best original shows on Netflix accompanied by one good and one bad tweet about them.
1. The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale
Positive Tweet Review:
@joelmchale Stop being so damn funny on the Joel Michael show. My wife is laughing so hard it’s making her fresh c section incision hurt.
— pete gilbert (@goyanks_23) April 16, 2018
Negative Tweet Review:
@Joel Mchale 2 words “you suck”!!! Stick to the soup! Worse show I’ve ever been to in my life!!

2. Altered Carbon
Positive Tweet Review:
I started watching altered carbon and it’s 10/10 so far
— Wendy Espinosa (@espinosaawendy) April 6, 2018
(Kinda) Negative Tweet Review:
Finished Altered Carbon. How can it be that a show can be so bad that I actually laughed *out loud* on my own at how terrible an action scene was in it, and yet I picked it up again and watched to the end?

3. Lost in Space
Positive Tweet Review:
So here's a thing that I did not ever expect to write, but am absolutely thrilled to do so:
Guys: The Netflix original series 'Lost in Space' is fantastic. You should watch the first episode immediately.
— Brian Brushwood (@shwood) April 16, 2018
Negative Tweet Review:
.@Daddy_Warpig I watched the first episode of Lost in Space on Netflix last night. One more example of a classic franchise used as a contrived vehicle for SJW/Gender Warrior agitprop.

4. Seven Seconds
Positive Tweet Review:
This show Seven Seconds on Netflix legit. Y’all gotta check it out
— Jaylen Smith (@JaylenSmith_12) April 8, 2018
Negative Tweet Review:
So seven seconds is ok so far but it’s kinda slow…. does it pick up at all?

5. Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee
Positive Tweet Review:
If you've got 15 minutes and are craving laughter, go for Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee featuring Ricky Gervais on Netflix.
Clever, spontaneous jokes.
— Shakti Shetty (@Shakti_Shetty) April 14, 2018
Negative Tweet Review:
they should call it “boring comedians in cars getting coffee being boring also jerry seinfeld sucks”
— ᴉʇʇoƃɐɾ (@jagotti) January 9, 2018
6. The End of the F*cking World
Positive Tweet Review:
The end of the f*cking world is actually a good show lmaooo. It’s pretty funny/interesting, I’d recommend if you’re looking for something new to watch. Good job @netflix
— ale~gre (@andthatsale) April 6, 2018
Negative Tweet Review:
Unpopular opinion: the end of the f**cking world isn’t a good show. It is pretty bad and I can’t believe y’all ship them/romanticize their relationship

7. Somebody Feed Phil
Positive Tweet Review:
There’s a short 5 episode cooking travel show called Somebody Feed Phil. It’s light, hysterical and it’ll make you want to go to those places to eat!
— Vess (@Vess1969) April 5, 2018
Negative Tweet Review:
My favorite part of #SomebodyFeedPhil is when somebody feeds Phil because that's the only time that he won't talk for at least 3 seconds.

8. On My Block
Positive Tweet Review:

(Kinda) Negative Tweet Review:
Let’s be real, even tho On My Block is a good show, the acting is freaking horrible
— McLovin (@ryanbandaa) April 13, 2018
9. Collateral
Positive Tweet Review:
https://twitter.com/emanuelaguirrep/status/985449567687725056
Negative Tweet Review:
I still think it was a 90 minute show padded out to four hours, with dialogue in the final two that was laughable, and at least three sub-plots that were not only unnecessary but entirely killed the momentum of the plot.
Astonishingly bad writing for the last half of the show.
