I haven’t seen much in life that would make someone like Han Solo speechless, but today that changed drastically. Now to be honest I don’t think I’ve ever thought what would make Han have a lack for words. I’m guessing things like Princess Leia taking a selfie with Darth Vader, Luke getting it on with Jar Jar Binks and Chewbacca shaving all his hair off would make the man go silent.
Sadly, the latter part of that is coming to fruition because some crazy artist made it come true.
Gautam Trivedi from New Delhi made a rendering of the beloved Star Wars character and honestly it’s pretty unsettling…
Fully shaved Chewbacca. Deal with it. pic.twitter.com/tRaFGgCuUZ

Yeah he does look like he could hit the beaches this summer, but I’m not sure children would love him as much as when he is covered with hair.
According to Looper, here’s how George Lucas originally came up with the furry guy:
“The stories are all true. I had a large dog named Indiana. A Malamute, an Alaskan Malamute, and he would ride around in the car, in the front seat. Not driving. I loved that image.
When he sat in the car, he was bigger than I was. That’s where I said, ‘That would be a fun character for Star Wars.'”
Now when people saw the outlandishly ugly shaven Chewie, they kind of lost their minds…

👍 This came up on my "shaved wookie" Google alerts. Glad I set those up!

It would be interesting if it looked like Han Solo.

And this one where I’m glad Ron clarified what he was saying…
I'd like to see a full bodied hairless Wookie. No… Not necessarily the private parts but the arms and legs. Despite Chewbacca's strength of 16 men, his arms always looked thin and lankey.

Some people couldn’t get the nose to compare and to be honest I’m with them. Either make this rendering as real as possible or nothing at all! Really I’m cool with the last option though…

What about the doglike nose?

Why is the nose flesh colored?

Let’s relive the first time we ever saw Chewbacca, in the original Star Wars movie from 1977.
