Remember back in 2012 when Grumpy Cat was a huge thing? He was the first cat of the internet and people went crazy for him. But we really haven’t heard much from him for awhile. I had to wikipedia him to make sure he was still alive.

So since he’s really not around anymore, I propose we make Xherdan the cat the new favorite angry cat of the Internet. He is both angry and equally ugly looking and I think he’s hilarious. When I say he’s ugly though, that doesn’t mean I don’t think he’s awesome.

This unique cat has beautiful light turquoise eyes and pointy ears that really distinguish him from all the other kittys.
His mom, Sandra Filippi, told The Dodo this:
“When I first saw him, he immediately stole my heart. He’s such a special baby boy.”
It must take a special mom to love this gnarly looking guy. So what kind of cat is he so you can’t get your very own? Xherdan is a Canadian Sphynx cat, which means he has way more wrinkles than normal sphynx cats. He also has a more slender figure.

Filippi continued to say:
“He is just like a child. He speaks a great deal in all pitches. When he’s excited, when he’s hungry, when he’s playing, or when he’s cuddling…He is always talking.”
Even though he looks like a combo of a gremlin and Gollum, he loves to show off. The two live in Switzerland with two other sphynx cats as well as a dog.

He also loves sitting by the window watching birds fly by. Filippi went on to say:
“He watches everything. He always wants to know what is going on, so he often just wants to be where his humans are.”

This means he’s really good at photoshoots, and right now Xherdan has over 4,500 followers in Instagram. My favorite part of the account is that Sandra put in the bio, “daily nudes.”
So what type of photos do the two take? Let’s take a look!

There are SO MANY WRINKLES on this account, it’s actually pretty funny!
She concluded:
“He is always distracting me when I’m trying to do something because I always have to look into his blue eyes and give him lots of cuddles. He is the most beautiful cat there is. And he always makes me laugh.”
I’m not a huge fan of cats, but if this one wondered up to me I wouldn’t be able to refuse to not pet it.
