Now that summer is almost here, we need things to watch…inside? Yeah well if you are at work and the kids are at home from school, it seems that Netflix is really working hard to get them to binge series instead of going outside to explore the world. At least there’s some Bill Nye on there for kids to get some science in.
Anyways, usually when I see these lists, they are filled with other movies and shows but these are all directly from Netflix. They are basically flinging show and movie material at the wall to see what sticks. Out of all these series, I think “The Break with Michelle Wolf” is going to be the best one if the correspondents dinner was a preview of things to come.
If you’re not into comedies, The Staircase is the next best bet. It’s being acclaimed to be the next “Making A Murderer” and if you watch the trailer you will see why. Other notable series that are coming back for season two are Marvel’s Luke Cage, Glow and Nailed It!
As for a wild card? Churchill’s Secret Agents: The New Recruits. I don’t know why but I can’t find anything online about it, it just sounds really good. I feel like if you’re into the show “Timeless” this title rings your bells as well.
