I remember the first time I told my mom about my first tattoo. I even videoed it because I knew it would be gold. She flipped but eventually got over it. Now I’m thinking about if I colored my eyes, split my tongue and oh yeah got a forehead tattoo. I’m pretty sure she would disown me and never talk to me again.
I wonder how 23 year old, Amber Luke broke the news to her mother. Apparently she cried about the modification to the eye balls but “she [mom] came around” to them. She has been modifying her body since she was 16 and she just recently posted a “before all the tattoos and such” photo.
She’s from New South Wales, Australia and if this sounds familiar you are right. Just a few weeks ago we covered a 21 year old that was deemed Australia’s “Most Modified Youth.” So these two have to be friends, right?
Amber has spent over $10,000 on making her body look…different including stretching her ear lobes, coloring in the whites of her eyes and splitting her tongue.
She spoke to MailOnline and detailed just what she was thinking when she began her modification journey…
“I got the name ‘Blue Eyed White Dragon’ from my friends, they call me that because I resemble a dragon with my eyes and tongue.
I see myself as very plain looking when looking at before and after photos, I absolutely hated the way I used to look. I was boring.
As soon as I turned 16, I was inspired by those around me to get tattooed. I craved to know what the feeling was like.”
She went onto say:
“I developed an addiction at 16 years of age. By the time I hit 18, I already had three tattoos. And when I turned 18, I decided to get my first big piece.
Now, I have over 50 tattoos, I haven’t been able to count all of them.”
So what did she look like when she hadn’t gotten the itch to ruin I mean “modify” her body?
So what’s next up for Amber? It seems she isn’t done just yet…
“I plan on sharpening my two fang teeth into vampire teeth.
I’m planning on getting tattooed tomorrow actually, getting more on my right leg.
I draw the line with body modifications when it comes to implants in the skin. I was going to get horns implanted but changed my mind as I don’t think I would suit it.”
Are you thinking of doing this to your body? I’m pretty sure I know you my fine Braincharm reader, but if I’m wrong this is what she had to say to people thinking about getting work done…
“Do your research before committing to anything.
You must find an artist that you can trust and bond with.
Same goes for tattooing, you must do your research before getting anything done, make sure you sit on the decision for a while before acting on it.”
Think this girl is crazy, just take a look at a woman that wants to be a literal dragon…
