Woman Loses Over 150 Pounds By Doing The Same Workout Everyday And There Isn’t Any Running Involved

Losing weight can be difficult and oftentimes just to hard to begin. Every January you might have the goal to go to the gym more, but as we sit here in June, have you achieved that goal?

Someone who is crushing their goals for more than just six months, is 22 year old, Laura Micetich. She weighed over 300 lbs and had a few health issues such as high blood pressure and prediabetes. She knew she needed to make a change whether it was surgery or other options.

She wrote on her website:

“I decided to take charge of my life and make a change. After trying and failing to get a handle on my health numerous times, my weight had become a serious enough concern that I was considering weight loss surgery.”

This is what she looked like as she pondered that.

She went to a gym one last time though because she thought surgery would be her only option. She got bit bite the gym bug though, because she quickly fell in love with it.

She continued onto say:

“What initially began because of consideration for weight loss surgery quickly grew into an intense love of health, fitness and nutrition.”

And that’s when she realized:

“I started by going to the gym, lifting weights and eating a clean diet tailored to my body’s needs. It only took a few weeks for me to realize that I didn’t need to go under the knife. I needed to get under the bar.”

And that’s when she began to seriously hit the gym hard. In her first year of lifting weights and such, she lost more than 100 lbs! All she had to do was change some eating habits and lift heavy things!

She went onto say:

“I just adjusted my diet. I ate lots of clean foods and removed all starches and processed sugars. I stopped eating out. I stopped getting takeout. I stopped buying junk at the grocery store. I stopped having alcoholic drinks with friends. I stopped binging on crap. That was it.”

I’ll let her conclude this with some beautiful words of wisdom. She wrote on one of her recent Instagram captions:

“Step 1: Fall madly, haphazardly, unapologetically in love with your life. Cherish the big moments, the sunsets, the good songs. Travel to places of your choice, take job opportunities of your choice, go to concerts and games of your choice, have nights out with friends of your choice.
Step 2. Let only those things, experiences, and people that ADD value to your life become part of it.
Repeat steps 1 and 2.
If it doesn’t add to your life, it doesn’t belong in your life.”

Keep crushing it Laura!
