Man Who Destroyed Donald Trump’s Star Got Bailed Out By The Guy That Did The Same Thing Two Years Ago

Remember 2016? It was such a better time when we only had to worry about a Donald Trump scandal every two days…now it’s every hour or so. We didn’t think things could get worse, but somehow they have. So it’s nice when there’s a feel good story every once and awhile. No this isn’t a dog adoption story this is a Trump getting wrecked story.

See, back in 2016 James Otis took a pick axe to Donald Trump’s star of fame in Hollywood. It has now happened again, this time by a man by the name of Austin Clay. Clay also took a pick axe to the star around 3:00 AM on Wednesday July 25th. Otis is back in the picture though because he put down $20,000 for Clay’s bail. Honestly I’m surprised there isn’t a GoFundMe to just get people to do this weekly.

According to TMZ, Clay turned himself in as well as plead no contest to the felony charge of vandalism. Instead of having to do any jail time, he will be put on three years probation. In addition he will have to serve 20 days of community service and pay $4,400 for his damages.

When Otis originally did this same feat back in 2016, he had disguised himself as a construction worker to not bring much attention to himself. He wanted to auction off pieces of the star to help pay for the legal fee’s of the women that pressed sexual harassment charges against the President of the United States.

He had said:

“It was very difficult. The stone was like marble, hard to get through. It would have taken an hour.

I’d like to try to go back and try to get the other part of the star. I just don’t know how to do that yet.”

The star’s most recent beating really go deep it seems.

Leron Gubler who is the president and CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce said in a statement about the star:

“When people are unhappy with one of our honorees, we would hope that they would project their anger in more positive ways than to vandalize a California State landmark. Our democracy is based on respect for the law. People can make a difference by voting and not destroying public property.”

Francisco Javier who is a street performer commented to CNN about what he see’s people do to Trump’s star on a regualr basis:

“People often stomp with anger on the star, others kick their heels over the star, and some spit. The last time, someone put a sticker over the star.”

Whether it’s using a pick axe or putting a tiny wall around the star, I don’t think this will be the last time that Trump will ever be vandalized. Guess that’s what you get when you’re famous, you can get vandalized however you want…
