Man From Colombia Has Cut Off His Nose To Look “More Like A Skull”

Sometimes people just aren’t satisfied with their own bodies. We’ve told you about the woman that wanted to be more like a dragon, or the guy that wanted to look like the Beckhams…but have you ever heard of a dude that wants to be like a skull? I bet you haven’t and this guy is…interesting to say it lightly.

Meet Eric Yeiner Hincapié Ramírez. For the past few years he has been modifying his body in very extreme ways.

Hailing from Columbia, Eric is a tattoo artist himself and that seems like one of the only jobs he can get after this most recent body modification.

He has split his tongue which many have done before as well as removed his earlobes. But now he has cut the tip of his nose off and many people can’t get over this last one.

Eric doesn’t go by his birth name anymore either, he goes by his Instagram moniker, Kalaca Skull. He spoke to Rio Noticias saying:

“Body modifications are a personal decision and should not be judged. It is like judging a woman for getting breast or buttock implants.

For me, a skull is like my sister, a part of my family really. I feel very attached to them.”

Kalaca was the first in Columbia to have his nose and ears modified which has brought the press knocking at his door according to the Daily Mail.

He loves the attention, saying that it’s a “dream come true.”

He concluded that:

“I am a normal person who just happens to look a lot different than most other people.

It’s like a different way of thinking, of dressing, a different style of music. I just feel good the way I am.”

I guess he has a point, we shouldn’t think of him as any different from you and I. If you can’t help it, I don’t blame you though…

If you’re interested in other body modifications, take a look at this Australia teen who is the most modified in his country supposedly.

Meet Ethan Bramble, who is only 21 years old and is already regarded as ‘Australia’s most modified youth.’ Now I’m not sure if there’s a competition for this, or maybe they just conceded this wild feat to him, but either way he doesn’t have much room for anything more. For some reason, I don’t think he’s stopping though…

When you are tattooing over your nipple, I don’t think there is anything he won’t do! He began his modification journey at just 11 years old after getting his ear stretched.

Since then he has gotten over 150 tattoos and received over 40 body modifications. If you are eating, I suggest stop doing that before you go on. Some of those modifications include getting his belly button removed (how do you even do that), splitting his tongue (like the dragon lady) and completely inking his eyeballs.

In an interview with News.com.au, Ethan said:

“Girls especially come up to me on the street and ask, ‘Why? Just why?’

And I ask, ‘Why do you dye your hair? Why do you put makeup on in the morning, why do you paint your fingernails?’

It’s the way you want to look, your appearance and I’ve always been a strong believer in you shouldn’t really judge people in the way they look.

The end product is 100 per cent worth the torment, if you’re committed to it.”

For some reason people reacted negatively to seeing Ethan with his eyeballs tattooed. I’m not sure why, but he said this about it:

“People’s perceptions of you change a lot.

You walk down the street and people cross the street to get away from you or think you’re really scary or something.

That first impression is everything, so even if you just see me and you’re looking at me trying to suss me out, your first impression is going to be ‘I’m f*cking terrified’. I’m a weird looking dude.”

So what did Ethan look like before all these modifications? Well I looked back as far as his Instagram goes, and this is what I saw. Keep in mind that he’s been doing this since 11 so there’s no pictures that show him as his true self.

He also posted this image as a more proper before and after with the caption:

“Little sneaky before and after photo for you all.”

Not really sure how “sneaky” it is, but some of the comments wished he hadn’t modified himself so much. Some read:

“You used to be so cute. Idk y u would do that”

“You were genuinely good looking :(”

“I can tell it’s definitely mental health problems. Something to do with parents?”

But one comment stood out because of it’s positivity:

“Wow the comments…Saying he ruined himself…at the end of the day if this is wat makes him happy, who are we to judge?..I get it, everyone is entitled to an opinion, but his opinion on himself is the one that matters…beauty is in the eye of the beholder”
