This past weekend, Samantha Markle, the Duchess of Sussex’s Meghan Markle’s estranged half-sister, was dismissed by Kensington Palace security after showing up, unannounced.
It has been reported that Meghan has not spoken to Samantha, 53, in years and just a few months ago, Samantha started smearing Meghan’s name over social media due to Meghan’s recent estrangement from their father, Thomas Markle.

Both Samantha and Thomas did not attend the royal wedding in May.
About a week ago, Samantha traveled to London to “get a message” to Meghan, 37. Samantha made her way to the royal’s home at Kensington Palace on Saturday.
Samantha has multiple sclerosis and was accompanied by her partner in a wheelchair. It was reported according to British news outlets that she verbally accosted an officer who was standing at a security checkpoint. Samantha was shortly dismissed and sent on her way.
In photos, Samantha’s partner can be seen handing over a letter to the guard, then proceeding to push her back towards the entrance.
On Sunday, Samantha tweeted:
“Everybody would love to know what’s in that letter.”
A source informed the Mirror how “…this was a huge move on the part of Meghan’s sister to try to see her face to face and the fact she was turned away speaks volumes. This is the closest Meghan has come physically to that side of her family since she married into the royal family but palace staff had clearly been instructed not to allow her access.”
Later in the day, Samantha was photographed at a souvenir stand where she purchased holding masks with Meghan and Harry’s faces.
The half sister’s father, Thomas, 74, shared how Meghan cut him off immediately after the royal wedding.
Thomas allegedly did not attend due to a heart attack.
Shortly after, Thomas received criticism due to staging paparazzi pics of himself in pursuit of money.
He later apologized over the images and publically expressed his apologies to Meghan.
“I’ve always wanted to see London, but really I wanted to make the trip and sort of speak the wishes and thoughts and sentiments of my father, and hopefully get a message to my sister,” Samantha said last week on Britain’s Channel 5.
Samantha also said that if she were able to speak to Meghan, she would say it’s “water under the bridge” and remind her how their issues spiraled “out of control.”
“I wish things could be different,” she said.

This past weekend, Samantha addressed her dad on Twitter.
“Dad only spoke out because he was being ignored and disregarded,” she posted. “My sister and the Royals handled things wrong and everybody knows it.”
Everyone has that one (or more) relatives that cause grief. And unfortunately, mental health is something we don’t talk enough about.
If Megan had to cut off her family, she probably had a good reason to. In the meantime, I will be watching how this all plays out…
