Officials say that explosive devices addressed to both Hillary Clinton’s home as well as the house of former President Barack Obama were intercepted.
In addition, the Time Warner Center – home to CNN in New York City – was evacuated after a suspicious package was also sent there.

Investigators are also working to discover if the two devices had any relation to the pipe bomb which was sent to billionaire George Soros’s mailbox earlier in the week.
Soros’s lives near the same community as the Clintons in Chappaqua, New York, law enforcement officials shared with ABC News.
That is kind of freaky to say the least…
It is believed that the three devices are similar in the way they have been constructed, in a pipe-bomb-style.
The New York City Police bomb squad responded when a suspicious package was left inside the mail room of Manhattan’s Columbus Circle’s Time Warner Center.
The suspicious package appeared to be a metal pipe with wires, according to sources who then informed ABC News.
The floors that are both above and below the mail room have been evacuated.
Jim Sciutto, CNN anchor, was actually on air when the evacuation happened.
Right at the time of evacuation, the channel’s news coverage switched over to their offices in Washington D.C. and Sciutto called into their broadcast.
He said that both he along with hundreds of other CNN employees stood outside watching a “very fast-acting, quick response group” of NYPD officers who rushed to the scene.
The Secret Service wants the public to know and understand that the distressing packages did not come in contact with Clinton or Obama.
Thank. God. I can’t imagine what a tragedy that would have been…
“The packages were immediately identified during routine mail screening procedures as potential explosive devices and were appropriately handled as such,” the Secret Service shared in a statement.
Both Bill and Hillary Clinton reside in Westchester County which is north of New York City, while the Obamas live in Washington D.C.
And I am very, very happy they are both okay, to say the least.

Trump has additionally been briefed regarding the packages sent to the Clinton and Obama households. The White House has issued an official statement condemning the attempted attacks, saying:
“We condemn the attempted violent attacks recently made against President Obama, President Clinton, Secretary Clinton, and other public figures,” Sarah Sanders shared in a statement.
“These terrorizing acts are despicable, and anyone responsible will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. The United States Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies are investigating and will take all appropriate actions to protect anyone threatened by these cowards.”
I can get behind that.
