What exactly will this “puptern” be doing? Petting and playing with the doggos of course.
I am moving to Texas immediately.
The restaurant and park have dozens of dogs and their humans visit every day for a bite to eat and lots of outdoor playtime.
The dogs will have access to the large dog park outside for playing fetch, going through an agility course and running around if their humans sign up for a membership.

The Fort Worth, Texas, location is also close to plenty of college students who to Texas Christian University.
The management at MUTTS believed the job would be a fantastic way for the puptern to connect with college kids.
“[We] wanted to introduce them to MUTTS concept and have a great time while doing so, and because of this, the idea of the puptern internship was born,” co-founder of MUTTS, Kyle Noonan, shared with The Dodo. “In this role, the puptern will greet MUTTS members with a friendly face, while offering to play and pet with their dogs — that’s it.”

The other location is in Dallas.
If you want the gig, to apply – the company is asking Instagram users to share photos and/or videos of themselves showcasing their best puppy petting skills with the hashtag #MUTTSpuptern and oh, the best part? It pays $100 per hour.
You also do not have to be in college to apply but you do have to be 18 or older.
Submissions are open until November 12.

After that date, MUTTS Forth Worth team will start to narrow the candidates down.

“There will be one ‘lucky dog’ chosen for this position,” Noonan continued.
Good luck, pup-lovers!
If you are not looking for an internship but are on the fence about visiting, here is what folks had to say about the restaurant/dog park hybrid…
“The staff takes an amazing initiative in knowing your name and your pets! They have made me feel welcome ever since my first visit over a year ago. Being able to relax and grab some drinks with my friends while also allowing my pup to socialize with other dogs is amazing. The staff seems to really care about your dog and does everything they can to support a welcoming environment for everyone.”

While another reviewer said:
“Really cool place for you and your dogs to hang out at. Just needed a few more bartenders. Will be back again for sure.”
Hey, that’s a good problem to have! We will see you and your pup soon at Cantina’s.
