Tess Holliday had one stressful holiday thanks to a few trolling body-shamers.
But she didn’t let her spirit get completely crushed…
On Tuesday evening, the plus side model posted to Twitter to send her haters a friendly PSA about those who had mean-spirited thoughts regarding her weight.
An image of a meme comparing the model to a hippo went viral on a Instagram account with over 14 million followers.

But Holliday was sure to address to the body-shamers that their goal would not be reached.
“A lot of y’all have sent this to me so upset, so I’m sharing my thoughts on it for your peace of mind: Stuff like this doesn’t bother me. It doesn’t make me mad…” Holliday wrote. “I literally feel nothing. I’m beautiful, successful, happy & grateful.
The 33-year-old referred to her success she had back in August with being on the cover of Cosmopolitan U.K. which many had divided thoughts on — including much body shaming.
But Holliday touted, “How could I have time to be bothered?”
But despite the haters, others praised Holliday how her confidence is not only inspiring but sexy — saying:
“Whoever made this did so bc they tear themselves to pieces over something as minuscule as eating a serving of French Fries, or wearing a clothing size that’s a double digit. Hope they come to terms with their distorted body image issues, for their well-being, as well as others.”

“People who do this sort of thing are missing something in their lives and only feel validated by “taking someone down”. You however are a Queen and an inspiration. I know who I’d rather be.”
“Yawn…she is not PROMOTING anything other than that ALL bodies deserve respect irrespective of size, shape, gender, age or ability. Good health is not limited to a certain body size!”
“I don’t understand why people feel the need to send this to you. Why stir more negativity? You’re more successful than most people out and have made a name for yourself. Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family. You’ve had one hell of a ride this year.”
“She inspires me to love myself no matter what ignorant people say. She inspires me to reach for my dreams because she is living hers. She inspires me because she can live with love in her heart i stead of bitterness and hate.”

“Why should it bother her? She is beautiful. Just because you find your value in your weight loss doesn’t mean everyone else should. Weight/size is a superficial and ultimately false measure of value. You do you and mind your own business.”
“People who do this sort of thing are missing something in their lives and only feel validated by “taking someone down”. You however are a Queen and an inspiration. I know who I’d rather be.”
“Get’em mama….. That Confidence will knock them down every time.”
“Queen. Your confidence is so sexy.”
Amen to all of that. We love you Tess Holliday, and in the famous words of T.Swift — haters gonna hate, shake it off!
