The Modern Family actor recently covered the winter 2019 issue of Pulse Spikes magazine dawning minimal makeup and boasting her gorgeous skin in an unretouched shoot.
Winter looks to be wearing no makeup aside from tinted lip balm, blush and a touch of highlighter.

Just one day after Winter’s 21st birthday, she posted to Instagram the following:
“Thank you @pulsespikes! Go to the link in my bio for the full article 🙂 #PulseSpikes #PSUnretouched,” she captioned the post.
And of course, fans took to the comment section to praise the actress, saying:
“Easily one of the BEST smiles in Hollywood…period. Whether she is grinning, smiling, or straight out laughing you can’t help but smile when you see her. Love this woman!!!”

“Gorgeous!! You don’t need any makeup to let your natural beauty shine through!!”
“You are so beautiful inside and out please don’t listen to any negativity no matter what it is they have no idea what they’re talkin about wishing you nothing but the best in your career most of all your life greater things are yet to come the world is your oyster good luck on your journey.”
For Winter, this is a huge accomplishment.
But unfortunately, that did not stop Internet trolls from body-shaming the actress again.
A few days prior, the actor had posted to Instagram a photo for her good friend where she can be seen posing in a plaid jumpsuit for photo-booth-style pictures.

According to Glamour, folks were very quick to comment negatively — making comments about her body and accusing her of plastic surgery.
“Now you’re just another generic looking pretty girl in Hollywood. Shoulda stayed how you were” is just one of the many perturbing comments from body-shaming trolls. While another penned: “What the h*ll happened. You were so beautiful before. You were never “body shamed” now you look unhealthy.”
The actor responded with: “Nothing wrong with being honest and telling her we liked her better before ‘the change’ she was so beautiful before she started chopping up her body and if me saying so helps one girl out here to feel beautiful who’s thinking of PS [sic] it’s worth it,” it read.

But Winter handled the situation mindfully and maturely, saying:
“I appreciate you wanting to help girls love themselves the way they are, but you are also kind of cutting someone (me) down which isn’t what I think you were trying to do?” she said.
“I also didn’t get plastic surgery. That is also not supportive of women if you’re just assuming about the way they look,” she continued.

Others quickly flocked to the actor’s defense, saying:
“What is wrong with people on here? She is gorgeous, point blank. Her body is not your problem, she isn’t living her life to please strangers. This is downright bullying and is disgusting. I should hope none of you commenting hurtful and hateful things ever have to deal with thousands upon thousands of strangers who feel they are entitled to criticize your physical appearance. Absolutely repulsive behavior!”
And with that, I say: “cue mic drop!”
