The world’s top scientists warned the United Nations how in twelve years, the planet could face catastrophic consequences if we do not address the climate change crisis.
Additionally, America’s top scientists released a “dire”report warning that if we do not address the climate change crisis, it could severely impact not only the environment but also the economy.
President Donald Trump then responded with stating how he “doesn’t believe,” the report, also claiming he does not believe it is real and humans are causing it.

This comes as a shock to many of the majority of climate scientists.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) proposed the Green New Deal, a plan to address the climate crisis along with income inequality.
The resolution would aim to eliminate pollution as well as greenhouse gas emissions, as well as upgrade all buildings to maximum energy efficinetcy.
Additionally, it would invest in renewable energy technologies, protect the environment, strengthen trade unions, provide higher education for all as well as universal health care — to name just a few key points.

In an interview with Fox News’ Steve Hitlon, Ivanka Trump criticized Ocasio-Cortez’ plan to give every person in America a guaranteed job with a living wage.
“I don’t think most Americans, in their heart, want to be given something,” said the 37-year-old who was gifted the job of White House Senior Advisor by her father. “I’ve spent a lot of time traveling around this country over the last four years. People want to work for what they get.”
She continued, saying:
“So, I think that this idea of a guaranteed minimum is not something most people want. They want the ability to be able to secure a job. They want the ability to live in a country where’s there’s the potential for upward mobility.”
And as you can imagine, Twitter roasted the First Daughter — reminding her how both she and her family have overwhelmingly benefitted from a privileged “head start.”

Trump was able to first start his business with a massive loan from his father along with three trust funds, while Ivanka made $82 million in outside income last year.
And according to a 2017 report by CareerBuilder, 78% of American workers live paycheck to paycheck.
A ecentr poll also reveals how most Americans support increasing the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour from the current rate of $7.25 — which was first established in 2009 (almost a decade ago.)
While Rep. Alexandria Oscasio-Cortez has a working-class background, she previsouly served as both a bartender and a waitress prior to becoming a Congresswoman.

Ocasio-Cortez then responded to Ivanka’s interview, tweeting out:
“As a person who actually worked for tips & hourly wages in my life, instead of having to learn about it 2nd-hand, I can tell you that most people want to be paid enough to live. A living wage isn’t a gift, it’s a right. Workers are often paid far less than the value they create.”
Snaps for Ocasio-Cortez!
