One barber has been handing out business cards…
But not just ANY business cards.
Personalized ones.
Key word in that last phrase is stapled, folks.

A 23-year-old barber by the name of Jake Gomez from Texas has not been attaching the condoms by the packets edges either — no, he has been stapling them right though the middle.
We are not sure who hurt Gomez to make him be filled with enough vengeance to commit such an act but before we get too riled up — he says he was not aware of the mistake he was making.
He first tweeted out the image via Twitter, the caption reading:
“Gotta include one of these with every card! You’re going to need it after I cut your hair… Trust me…”

And while he is very confident in his barbering skills (and not bad, might I add) I am not sure if many trusted he would do a good job after his posting went viral.
Jake’s post has been retweeted over thousand of times — and in doing so, decided to show a few pictures of his work.
He posted:
“Little of my work! Thank you all for being here. Truly an honor.”

Aaaand as you can imagine — the Twitter comments came hard and fast.
“Do you have any cards that are extra small? Asking for a friend.”
“Look, it works! He cuts their hair and then they use the condom with holes in it and have a kid. Then the dude’s business doubles. Genius!”
“Not here for your work, here for the condoms.”
“This marketing gimmick has a hole in it.”

“This barber been cheated on too much.”
“IF YOU TRYNA TRAP YOUR MAN SEND HIM HERE, you’re welcome.”
Regardless of all the poking, Jake seems to have laughed at his mistake and taken it like a champ.
Besides the very obvious rule of thumb – aka not stapling condoms – how can one increase the effectiveness of condoms?
According to JustDoc, storage plays a big part in making sure you don’t have any….surprises.

Condoms should always be stored in a dry place at room temperature away from sunlight. They should also be kept out of wallets despite pop culture telling you otherwise as they can be damaged due to body movements and friction.
And no not that kind of friction.
Additionally, it is always a good idea to check the expiration date — as after the expire, they become brittle and dry. Yikes.
Air bubble are also something to keep in mind as one rolls on a condom. Be sure (attn to whoever is doing the rolling) to squeeze the air out of it completely to ensure no air bubbles are trapped inside. This is not only for comfort safe but also ensuring the condom does not pop.
Uhm, ouch.
Last but certainly not least, the type of condom you have is important.

Both latex as well as polyurethane condoms provide the same level of protection while Spermicidal condoms are not recommended as they do not protect against pregnancy or STDs.
So whether you are getting a shave or having a night in with your S.O. – make sure you do a double take of your protection.
Good luck folks, and may the odds ever be in your favor!
