Michah Laplante, YouTuber, has built an entirely new type of PC case —- made out of actual, uncooked pasta.
It all started as a joke from his wife — and while he did not intend to build such a powerful kit — he did end up with a product that was able to stream media as well as a few games.
According to the YouTube video which documents the entire construction — he removed the hardware from an old Asus notebook, placed the components down on lasagna noodles and glued everything together.
After the basic components (plus a makeshift HDMI and USB ports) were either taped or glued to the pasta — he continued to add more lasagna strips on top.
And for a little something extra, he painted on a thick sauce and a few rigatoni noodle vents to add airflow.
The end result?
While the PC did run, three years worth of Windows 10 updates caused its eventual demise.
The comment section was boiling with punny comments like:
“This may look like an Asus transformer but it’s really an impasta.”
“Well, this PC is obviously pasta-generation one.”
“Will there be a sequal? “Rise of the linguine!””
“Garfield wants to know your location.”
“This proves that nothing is impastable. While it may have been started fusilli reasons I am tortellini in love with it!”
