A British man in Thailand died during a showing of Annabelle Comes Home last week.
The movie is the latest flick of the horror franchise that began with The Conjuring.

The man was 77-years-old and had been traveling in the country alone. His name has yet to be released to the public.
The woman who discovered the man was allegedly “shaken,” and immediately called for help when she realized he had died.
Monthira Phengrat, witness, explained to reporters:
“They were in the cinema where the man died, and they were very upset. They were shocked by what had happened. Some people had been sitting near the dead man.”

Lieutenant Colonel Polpattham Thammachat shared with Mail Online the following:
“Police were notified of the death at 8 p.m. inside the cinema in a shopping mall. From the preliminary investigation it was not known how the foreign man had died but doctors will conduct an autopsy to establish the true cause of death. We are not looking for anybody else connected to the death.”
