A pup named Lucky seems to have been dealt an interesting hand when it comes to looks.
A two-year-old pup who hails from Thailand, Lucky has eyes everywhere when he hits the town with his owner, Charice Fca Cha.
“There are so many reactions,” Charice shared with The Dodo. “Some people are stunned, excited, surprised. People want to meet him.”
And with Lucky’s striking look, it is understandable. The pup was born with a condition called heterochromia, where each eye develops different coloring. In this case, Lucky’s one eye is pale blue while the other is brown.
In addition, over Lucky’s blue eye is a dark, arching spot, which has been said to look cartoon-like.
After Charice posted photos of Lucky online, some people had a hard time believing the dog was real.
“Some people think I used a permanent pen to draw his eyebrow or photo-shopped his face,” she said.
Despite his outward appearance, Lucky is thankfully, in good health. When Charice adopted him, he was a little skinny but she has plans to get him huskier with a better diet.
Lucky also has a soft spot for his owner.
“He’s a very clinging guy,” Charice said. “He sticks with me everywhere all the time.”
But what makes Lucky so special is his heart.
“I think we will have a fun and very happy future,” Charice said.
