Tension between the bride and the mother of the groom is not anything new under the sun but one groom’s mother was dead set on making a point about how she felt about her son’s union.
In a wedding invite that has recently been uncovered by Reddit, a mother of the groom has decided to reek havoc upon the couple’s future ceremony.
And while the following invite is written bluntly —- it is uncertain whether it is a joke or an actual invite.
It reads:
“You are regretfully invited to the wedding between my perfect son, The Doctor, and some Cheap Two-Bit Tramp, whose name escapes me right now.”
It goes on to say:
“The overwhelmingly disappointing heartbreak of a ceremony will be followed by dinner, where nuts will be served because whatsherface has an allergy.”
Users were shocked by the brash invitation.
Yikes.
