This renowned 82-year-old bodybuilder decimates burglar with a table, a broomstick and shampoo

An award-winning bodybuilder at 82-years-old has recently confronted a burglar more than half her age and decimated him.

Willie Murphy revealed how the 28-year-old burglar broke into her home in New York state around 11 p.m. on a weekday evening.

But he didn’t exactly leave with any treasures.

Instead, he left in an ambulance after Murphy whacked him in the head with a table.

And while she may only be five feet tall and weigh just 105 lbs. she can dead lift 225 lbs. which is very impressive if you ask me.

The man showed up at the door and attempted her to let him in as he was “sick.”

And after refusing him entry because she was not falling for it, Murphy decided enough was enough.

She revealed in an interview after the incident:

“I’m alone and I’m old, but guess what? I’m tough.”

While she had already informed the cops — she quickly found items around her house to protect herself.

Along with cracking a table on the man, she also hit him with a broomstick and smothered him in shampoo — finishing him off with the metal legs of her table after it broke.

She shared with Fox News:

“I hear a loud noise. I’m thinking, what the heck was that? The young man is in my home. He broke the door. I picked up the table, and I went to work on him. The table broke. And when he’s down. I’m jumping on him. I grabbed the shampoo. Guess what? He’s still on the ground. In his face, all of it, the whole thing. I got the broom. He’s pulling the broom.”

“I’m hitting him with the broom. He picked the wrong house to break into.”

Murphy has since received praise from her home gym at the Maplewood YMCA where she trains regularly.

Even the first responders who arrived wanted to get a picture with her.

But she is already a local celebrity thanks to her bodybuilding after starting a few years ago with small weights.

Today, she can lift twice her body weight and has massive arm muscles and abs.

She’s already something of a local celebrity due to her bodybuilding and feats of strength.

Back in 2014, she won first place in her division at the World Natural Powerlifting Federation World Championships.

Currently, she wants to encourage older people to stay in shape, recently she shared:

“I’m old – if I can do it, get with it. I’m that new senior and I got it going on.”
