Almost 2 million people sign petition to demand Netflix take down show that depicts Jesus as gay

Over 1.5 million people have signed a petition demanding Netflix remove a comedy about Jesus being gay.

Made by a YouTube comedy group, The First Temptation of Christ, was released by a streaming service in Brazil on December 3.

The online petition calls for Netflix to remove the comedy from the platform as well as punish its creators for its “crime of villainous faith.”

“We also want public retraction, as they have seriously offended Christians,” the petition stated.

The 46-minute show implies Jesus has relations with his male friend, Orlando but he wants to keep it from his family.

Netflix describes the show as:

“Jesus, who’s hitting the big 3-0, brings a surprise guest to meet the family. A Christmas special so wrong, it must be from comedians Porta dos Fundos.”

Well, it at least Starbuck’s hasn’t been getting any flack for their cups!
