Most would assume that Jesus was the tall, white-skinned and blue eyed middle aged man we saw depicted in countless Sunday school books but according to one expert, that probably was not the case.
A professor of Christian origins and second temple Judaism at King’s College London, Joan Taylor, says Jesus actually would have had shorter hair and darker skin.
According to Joan, Jesus also would have a shorter beard and his clothing would have been plain and not colored.
The professor also states how there is even a picture already out and about that realistically depicts what Jesus would have looked like:
