Madonna has decided to cancel the final date of her U.S. Tour, due to her “indescribable” pain that could cause “irreversible damage” to her body.
The announcement came only hours prior to the start time which caused discord among fans who traveled far for the performance.
While scaling an on-stage ladder over the weekend, the pop star shared:
“I was in tears from the pain of my injuries,” she posted to social media. “With every song I sang, I said a prayer that I would make it to the next and get thru the show. My prayers were answered and I made it.”

After the performance, the 61-year-old revealed she spent multiple days undergoing scans, ultrasounds and X-rays, suffering “poking and probing and more ears.”
Madonna then apologized for the cancellation announcement after doing away with or postponing multiple tour dates this year due to injuries — causing one fan to file a lawsuit against her.
