A dad in California was disgusted to open an Amazon delivery for his daughter after finding a shocking surprise in the box.
The photographer revealed the mishap on his Twitter last month. In the post, the dad revealed that his daughter had allegedly been sent the new waffle maker by her grandmother.
“Wow, my mom sent my daughter a new waffle maker from @amazon and they sent us a used one with the FOOD STILL IN IT. Disgusting,” McCarthy posted to Twitter.
Amazon’s Help Team then responded to McCarthy’s tweet, apologizing for the ordeal and wanting to know more.
“We’re sorry to see the condition this item arrived in. It’s certainly not the experience we strive for!” the Help Team tweeted out. “So a member of our team to take a closer look at this, please ask your mom to sign in and provide all the order details here.”
