A woman in Germany is set to marry a jumbo jet she has dated the past six years, claiming it was love at first flight sight.
The 30-year-old saleswoman Michele Köbke said she met her soon to be husband (a Boeing 737-800) at Berlin Tegel Airport in 2014.
Speaking about the embrace, Michele said:
“The time in the hangar was the most beautiful moment of my life and when I was with him, we enjoyed our time together, we kissed and I caressed him. I plan to move into the hangar one day and my biggest dream is to be with ‘Schatz’ and to live with him. I also want to marry him in the hangar and spend the whole night with him. I wouldn’t want to put on a white dress, but dress really smartly with black trousers and a black blazer.”

The couple plans to take off into marriage on March 18 but while some have accepted their relationship, Michele’s family say they do not want to meet the plane.
Michelle doesn’t seem bothered by that and just wants the big day to arrive already.
“I want to have someone marry us and say, ‘do you want to marry your 737-800’ and I say, ‘yes’, we kiss and then I’m immortalised with him and we can be together forever.”
The relationship is an example of obejectophilia where one has a sexual or romantic attraction to an inanimate object.
