After both plane engines fail during takeoff, pilot lands plane in corn field
An airline pilot is being celebrated after he made a successful emergency landing in a corn field after a swarm of birds was sucked into the plane’s engines during takeoff, causing them to tail.
Everyone on board allegedly survived.
Captain Damir Yusupov, 41, was piloting Ural Airlines’ flight 178 from Moscow’s Zhukovsky Airport to Simferopol, Crimea.
And during the takeoff, something terrible went wrong.
Passengers on the aircraft revealed to Russian news outlets that the Airbus A321 began shaking, making noises and smelling of something burning as it began its incline.

Both photos and videos of the crash site has been overwhelming social media with many showing the plane engulfed in flames in certain areas and skid marks through the field where the aircraft came to a halt.
