Michelle Obama is currently the world’s most admired woman
Beating former title holder Angelina Jolie, Michelle Obama is now the most admired woman in the world.
The former first lady also surpassed Oprah Winfrey (who ranks second this year), according to a new poll by YouGov, as well as Queen Elizabeth II (who ranks fourth) and Emma Watson (who ranks fifth.)
Jolie moved down two rankings, from first last year to third in 2019, while Winfrey moved up from third to second.
And when it comes to the men’s top five ranking, things have not changed with Bill gates in first, Barack Obama in second, Jackie Chan in third, President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinpink in fourth and businessman Jack Ma in fifth.
Over 42,000 people from 41 countries were interviewed to determine the list according to the YouGov site.
