In addition to her unorthodox sleeping habits, Mama June — who said that “the most I’ve gained back is five pounds” — attributed her rockin’ bod to controlling how much she eats.
“It’s all about portion control for me,” the 38-year-old said of maintaining her size 4. “It’s not easy to eat like you’re ‘supposed to’ and hit the gym all the time, but I’m just trying to maintain it the best I can.”
She also noted that she’s “more of a snacker” when it comes to her eating habits, noting that she loves to eat grapes and cheese. For dinner, she’ll opt for baked chicken and quinoa or baked pork chops, corn and beans.

Nothing can stop Stephanie Kelly, not even the chance of cancer.
The 42-year-old mother of four watched her mother battle breast cancer twice, most recently in 2015. So when she tested positive for the BRCA 1 gene, she made the “easy decision” to undergo a preventative double mastectomy to prevent getting cancer.
According to the National Breast Cancer Institute, BRCA significantly increases the risk of both breast and ovarian cancers, accounting for about twenty-five percent of “hereditary” breast cancers. Furthermore, those with the BRCA gene are more likely to develop mutations at a younger age. Stars like Angelina Jolie and Christina Applegate are all carriers of the BRCA gene — like Kelly, no one is immune.
“With the family history and just my general luck about things, I’d always expected breast cancer to play some role in my life. It would have been a great surprise if it had been negative, but I completely expected to hear it was positive. The genetic counselor joked that she’d never had someone be so calm and matter-of-fact about positive results before,” Kelly recounted to People about her diagnosis.
For her, losing her breasts was a “small sacrifice” to what could happen if she kept them. But when it came time to decide what to do after her mastectomy, she didn’t consider reconstructive surgery — instead, she went opted for a big Wonder Woman tattoo.
She said to People, “I have always loved Wonder Woman, and during this time I began to joke that I was going to be like Wonder Woman and be strong and unfazed by the things I needed to do that scared me. Friends and family sent me little gifts of Wonder Woman figurines, cards, clothes, even a full robe. It all helped me feel stronger and it was a way to feel all the love and support I had and bring that along with me.”
The heroic image extends past Kelly’s chest and down onto her torso. It took Kelly multiple sessions to complete the tattoo — but the representation is worth it. “I have this image of strength, power and fearlessness across my chest and that continues to build me up. I see my scars now as entirely positive.”

There are a lot things in this world we don’t have much control over. Now you can change this one thing, but it’s always seemed like a long process and honestly who really wants to do it? I’m talking about changing your name and like your body features, you are just born with both!
A St. Louis woman was just trying to get a job when an employer let her know they wouldn’t even be considering her because of her name.
Hermeisha Robinson was applying to Mantality Health in St. Louis, Missouri when she got a very disturbing message.
The position was for a customer service representative and it seems that whoever responded needs to take some notes on customer service. She posted a screenshot of how someone from Mantality Health responded to her. She captioned the screenshot with:
“My feelings are very hurt and they even got me second guessing my name, trying to figure out if my name is really that ‘ghetto.'”
What is even more disconcerting is that she isn’t the only woman that got this message. According to KMOV, Dorneshia Zachery also received this same note.
“The company looked at my name and said we don’t care about what you’ve done in life your name is going to dismiss you completely.”
While Mantality Health didn’t deny the messages, they did say they thought they were hacked. Even Police have gotten involved due to the alleged hacking. CEO of Mantality said, “This is not a reflection of who we are as a company. This is deplorable.”
This isn’t the first time we have seen racism in the work place. A few months ago this horrible story happened…
People think they can say anything online and it won’t come back to haunt them.
You would also think that some who is titled as the HR manager would warrant some human resource qualities. Sadly, Minh Huynh was on the receiving end on some seriously racist crap.
All he was trying to do was get a job, like many of us in this country, so he could support his family. Minh applied to Dash Delivery, but I think he’s the one who got lucky at the end of all this. After applying, Bruce Peterson (I’m going to use his full name every time I mention him when people Google his name this will come up) had the audacity to respond with this email.
“Let me tell you now, if you no speak English, I will send you home”
Hey Bruce, maybe end your sentences with a period so we know when you’re done talking out your butt!
After Emily’s tweet it caught the viral fire it needed. At this moment there are 24,000 RTs and 50,000 favorites. Alright a little faith in humanity restored, and especially after hearing from Dash Delivery one more time. They followed up (to save face) and wrote Minh and Emily a note:
“Dear Mr. Huynh and Emily,
As the employer of Mr. [BRUCE] Peterson, please accept my sincere apologies for the communication sent by Mr. [BRUCE] Peterson to you. Mr. [BRUCE] Peterson’s communication was inappropriate and inconsistent with our company’s values. Our company is an equal opportunity employer and it is proud of it’s diverse workforce. Indeed, the majority of the employees performing the work for which you applied speak English as a second language and they represent a wide range of backgrounds and nationalities. While it is true that communicating effectively in English is an important part of the job in question, the manner in which Mr. [BRUCE] Peterson communicated with you was highly inappropriate and following our investigation he is no longer employed with the company. Thank you gor bringing this to our attention and I hope you will accept my sincere apology.”
Emily’s amazing viral tweet ended a racist at his own game. Just think how many others he would have ridiculed if she hadn’t done so.
But the story doesn’t stop there! She tweeted an update with this picture!
“Check up: Even though we appreciate all the encouragement to make it a law suit, my dad has forgiven and wants to move on. He says he doesn’t want to be confrontational, what happened has happened. Btw this is my dads notebook he keeps near his laptop, he teaches himself daily :)”
No word on if he has gotten a job yet, but with all this viral support, he’s well on his way to it hopefully!
What was supposed to be a romantic getaway to Mexico for their engagement turned out to be very the opposite for Jennifer and Frank Massabki.
They rented a car to drive around for the week in Mexico City and within an hour of driving they were crashed into. The car hit their back bumper and Frank got out to speak with the driver, you know normal American stuff we are used to.
All of sudden though, it was a scene out of Taken and there were two men pointing guns at the couple. They were taken hostage, blindfolded and commanded to remove all their jewelry. Jennifer recalled one of them saying, “This is going to get a lot worse for you.”
This below image was right before their kidnapping.
Now Liam Neeson doesn’t randomly show up sadly, and the couple were driven to some other location. Once there, they were ordered to call friends and family to get ransom money. The couple were captives for hours and were tortured. Jennifer was also almost raped, but they failed at doing that.
Another thing these C-List kidnappers did? Lose their captives! Frank was eventually able to escape and found not-corrupt police to come back and save Jennifer. That would be the largest concern for me when going to a different country. I would hate to need assistance and not have proper authorities to come save the day.
The couple credited their escape to them being fluent in Spanish which helped them hear what their captors were saying. They probably assumed that they had kidnapped dumb Americans…BUT THEY WERE WRONG!
“We just want other people to know these dangers exist.
We were lucky to escape, and if our story can prevent one other person from going through what we went through, and what we almost had to go through, it would be worth it.”
Once the couple got back to the States, Jennifer had to have emergency plastic surgery on her nose because of what the kidnappers did.
Back in January the U.S. State Department issued a warning saying that people should not travel to the following Mexico states: Sinaloa, Colima, Michoacán, Guerrero, and Tamaulipas. They also warned people going to Mexico City that they should be extra cautious.
Since summertime is fast approaching us, it’s a good idea to revisit these warnings. The Mexico tourism board said this about the normal Mexico tourism areas to Time:
“The vast majority of crimes in Mexico do not occur in areas frequented by international tourists. The vast majority of Mexico is safe for tourists.”
Now that statement was from people that want you to spend money in Mexico so take those words with caution.
These days you really have to wonder when enough is enough. When are we as a people going to come together and disregard politics for once and think about humans as humans.
Police need to have better training to figure out how to deal with certain scenarios. Just last week, police in Sweden of all places shot and killed a boy with down syndrome because he had a toy gun.
Now we have a police officer or a “school resource officer” from Denton, Texas pinning down an autistic boy for…trying to just get away from people.
Thomas Brown is a ten-year-old kid that was simply being a kid and not listening. That is really the only reason you don’t have to put handcuffs on a kid…but on top of that he also has autism. After his parents, Emily and Robert, saw this disturbing video they were outraged and knew they would be taking legal action.
It all began with Thomas was poking the other students in the special needs classroom and not listening to his teachers. Sounds like these teachers need additional training as well.
This is when Eric Coulson, a school resource officer, comes in and begins to pin down the child and put him in handcuffs. In the video you can hear him saying, “Well, we’re back to where we were the other day. Do you want the handcuffs? Or not?”
I don’t think anyone outside of the bedroom has actually wanted the handcuffs, let alone a child that can’t even understand the concept of handcuffs.
You can also hear Thomas screaming and yelling “Get off, I hate you!” and honestly I have to relate to his feelings.
Eventually you can see a teacher come into view and stroke his face to try and calm him down. I think they are past the point of trying to be nice and calm him down.
Again the officer tries to reason with Thomas saying, “I don’t want you to end up back in the same predicament, okay.” He takes the handcuffs off but Thomas begins to act out again so the two struggle all over again. Eventually Emily, his mother, shows up and takes him away.
I don’t think Emily knew the horrible circumstance her son had gone through until she saw the footage. She said to WFAA:
“It’s abuse, the torture, and the hell that he was put through. I didn’t notice until I got home, and started realizing there’s something really wrong here.”
The officers had told her at the time that Thomas was harming others and disrupting the classroom, and she believed them.
A review was done by the Denton Police Department Office of Professional Standards and it concluded that Coulson did nothing wrong. That’s a small Texas town for you, protecting their own.
The Browns have vowed to conduct an independent investigation and get justice for Thomas and any other child that could be potentially harmed at the Denton Independent School District.
“We as parents will never stop fighting for our son or other children.
So that they can be safe within the walls of their school and free of physical emotional, and psychological [abuse] at the hands of the very people that are publicly employed to protect them.”

It’s amazing when a story has a happy ending and gives everyone that warm and fuzzy feeling at the end. This is one of those stories.
A man named Justin recently posted a story about finding his birth parents on Reddit and the Internet might have made Kleenex stock go up because of how much happy tears it has induced.
Check out his incredible story of finding his birth parents and being welcomed by them and their family in his own words.
“Hi, my name is Justin and I’m 26 years old. Recently, I was able to finally make contact with my birth parents, and it was the best experience of my life.
A little backstory before I get into it, though.
Growing up, my adoptive mother always made sure I knew I was adopted, and it was something I grew up embracing about myself. I never felt the negative stigma of being adopted.
My adoptive mother always made sure I knew that my biological mother loved me and wanted to keep me, but she wasn’t able to support life for a baby at the time and wanted me to have every opportunity available.”
“Over the years, I’ve always been curious about my biological mother, as I only had 2 things to go off of: my mother’s name (For privacy reasons, let’s call her Lisa Jones) and the fact that my mother’s father was a pastor. Her name was very common, and made it impossible to find her through online research. I sent many messsges asking many suspect Lisa Jones over the years if they had a son who they gave up for adoption in 1992, and I received many “I’m sorry but no”s.
“I couldn’t believe this. There was no way it was a coincidence. After trying her name again, I still came up with nothing for her name, so I tried searching the pastor’s wife’s name on Facebook.
I ended up finding her and comparing her to the photo of the pastor and his wife. There was no mistaking it. That was his wife.
I ended up searching through her friends list, desperately hoping she would be Facebook friends with my biological mother.
I looked through her photos and immediately saw my own features in her face and I cried. I immediately messaged her.
It took a few days for her to reply because Facebook messenger is weird if you aren’t friends with the person.
I sent that message that I had sent so many times to so many people out one last time.
It was her!”
“She was absolutely ecstatic. We talked for a while and she revealed to me that not only are both my biological parents still together, but that I also have 2 FULL-blood sisters, one 16 and one 19. They also only lived an hour away from where me and my girlfriend were living in central Florida!
Long story short, Obviously we decided to meet. We scheduled to meet next Friday at her home, and I had never been more excited about anything in my life.
Come the day of, my girlfriend and Mom are riding with me, and we pull up at the house. I told them I wanted the first moment to be between only me and my biological family, since this was the first time meeting them, and they wholeheartedly agreed.
I walk up to the door, about to knock, and my hand just won’t stop shaking. I know that when this door opens, my life changes forever.”
“They open the door and there stands my beautiful mother, father, 2 sisters and grandmother. All in tears. I get a rush of an emotion I’ve never felt and I just lunge into my Mom and hug her, immediately sobbing and squeezing her.
After hugging her for about 2 minutes and crying, I hug everyone else. I feel happiness and euphoria as I see my own face in theirs. It’s a feeling one can only know if they’ve gone through this.
After we all cry and hug, we sit down and we talk. For hours and hours and hours. I asked my mother about my grandpa, and she said he had passed away 3 weeks before I made contact, and the whole family was devastated he meant so much to them.”
“She said nothing was ever more “meant to be” than this because of how he passed away and then they find their biological son weeks later.
“The worst thing ever happening and then the best thing ever happening within a month” was her wording.
As for my father, we instantly hit it off as well! Being that my adopted parents are divorced, it had been a long time since I had someone to call dad. He’s a fantastic and humorous guy, and I even spent Father’s Day weekend at their house with him!”
To write everything we talked about would be a novel, so I’ll keep the rest short and say that I’ve met up with them several times after that. Every single time has been better than the last, and the whole situation has had an earthquake effect on both my biological and adoptive families!

Boston resident Collette Divitto developed a passion for baking as a teenager. When she began applying for jobs when she was 22, however, she was shut out from bakery after bakery.
“Many people who interviewed me for jobs said I was really nice but not a good fit for them,” Divitto told Upworthy. “It was really hurtful and I felt rejected a lot.”
Divitto, who has Down syndrome, did not to give up. With the help of her mom, she opened up her own shop called Collettey’s Cookies. When she started, she received an order for 100 cookies per week by local grocery store Golden Goose.
“I never raised her looking at her as if she had limitations,” Divitto’s mother, Rosemary Alfredo, told ABC News. “I just said, ‘We all have them. We all have things we’re good at, and we all have things we’re not good at.’ You can call them disabilities. We all have strengths and we all have weaknesses. We don’t focus on that.”
Currently, Alfredo works at the bakery with her daughter along with Golden Goose volunteers. She hopes as the business grows, they can hire more people. Divitto encourages people to not let others get them down. She said, “Never give up. Don’t let people make you sad or feel rejected. Stay motivated and follow your dreams.”
A GoFundMe campaign has been opened to assist Divitto with her next endeavor: owning a production and distribution facility and creating more jobs for adults with disabilities.
It’s always a winning season when you are Barack Obama. He might not be in office anymore, and our country is circling the bowl…but his legacy overall is still growing. Even post-presidency Obama is getting awards left and right. The most recent award Barack will be receiving is The Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award.
The award is given to recipients that advocate for human rights. Robert F. Kennedy fought for civil rights while he was a US Senator and attorney general while he was alive. He even did so alongside Martin Luther King Jr. and Cesar Chavez.
“Bobby Kennedy was one of my heroes. I first got into public service because I wanted to be a part of something bigger than myself, believing that my own salvation was bound up with the salvation of others. That’s something he expressed far better than I ever could when he talked about the power that comes from acting on our ideals, those ripples of hope that can ‘sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.”
Bobby Kennedy was one of my heroes. He was someone who showed us the power of acting on our ideals, the idea that any of us can be one of the “million different centers of energy and daring” that ultimately combine to change the world for the better. https://t.co/nAiPiGercs
“We generate a foundation of facts that enriches the public dialogue and supports sound decision-making. We are nonprofit, nonpartisan and nonadvocacy. We value independence, objectivity, accuracy, rigor, humility, transparency and innovation.”
So the Pew Research Center conducted this survey this past June with just over 2,000 adults. The overall results were in overwhelming support of President Obama. According to the survey:
“When asked which president has done the best job in their lifetimes, more Americans name Barack Obama than any other president. More than four-in-ten (44%) say Obama is the best or second best president of their lifetimes, compared with about a third who mention Bill Clinton (33%) or Ronald Reagan (32%).”
This is pretty normal though. In 2011, Barack Obama was the best president according to 20% of the people surveyed. Bill Clinton was at 49% and Reagan was at 34%. I guess times have changed and those numbers have flip-flopped a little.
Of course the survey participant’s answers had to do with their age as well. Millennials were more likely to name Obama the best President ever with a resounding 62%. Generation X was still high with Obama supporters with 41% of the vote, but Reagan edged him out slightly with a 45%. Baby Boomers followed suit with 42% for Reagan as well.
Last year Barack was also named the “Most Admired Man In The World” for the tenth year in a row in a Gallup poll (you know another reputable source). That will probably make Trump eat a few more cheeseburgers in stress eating. Surprisingly Trump got second in that poll.
“Obama has now been named the most admired man 10 times, trailing only Dwight Eisenhower, who earned the distinction 12 times. Obama won all eight years he was president, plus 2008 — the year he was first elected — and this year, his first as a former president.”
I remember going to birthday parties as a kid and hating the clowns there. I’m pretty sure many people share this same hatred for clowns but they were good for one thing.
Giving away balloon animals.
Now normally we would be impressed by a snake or a flower if you are a skilled clown. But artist, Masayoshi Matsumoto, is a true artist when it comes to balloon animals. Speaking to Buzzfeed, Matsumoto says:
“I started making balloon art 10 years ago, when I got involved in the juggling community. I taught myself.”
Yeah these are amazing in every sense of the word, so check them out for yourself. If you feel like it, give Matsumoto a follow here!
Remember back in 2004 when life wasn’t a political firestorm every other minute? It was a simpler time when Donald Trump was in charge of a TV show and not the nation as we know it. It was also the first time we saw Omarosa. She was on the first season of The Apprentice and she was one of the first evil reality tv stars.
Fast forward to 2017-18 where she held a position in Trump’s White House and has since been fired.
This all came out this morning and since then, Donald Trump has been on a predictable Tweet storm. He is known for giving his enemies catchphrase nicknames and this time is no different.
Wacky Omarosa, who got fired 3 times on the Apprentice, now got fired for the last time. She never made it, never will. She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok. People in the White House hated her. She was vicious, but not smart. I would rarely see her but heard….
…really bad things. Nasty to people & would constantly miss meetings & work. When Gen. Kelly came on board he told me she was a loser & nothing but problems. I told him to try working it out, if possible, because she only said GREAT things about me – until she got fired!
Just to make it clear, he had to take 23 minutes in-between Tweets to think of what to say next. 30 minutes later he was at it again.
While I know it’s “not presidential” to take on a lowlife like Omarosa, and while I would rather not be doing so, this is a modern day form of communication and I know the Fake News Media will be working overtime to make even Wacky Omarosa look legitimate as possible. Sorry!
After these angry Tweets, Omarosa was seen on MSNBC saying:
“This is his pattern with African-Americans. He doesn’t know how to control himself.”
Omarosa discussed the Lester Holt interview on MSNBC's @VelshiRuhle. She claims Hope Hicks and others prepped Trump to lie about Comey, but he was too "mentally challenged" to stick to the script. Forget the drama; Trump's mental fitness is the most critical part of this saga. pic.twitter.com/9DqRsHTfik
In Omarosa’s book, “Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House,” she mentions never signing a non-disclosure agreement. Even after her firing, she was sent a contract by Lara Trump, the president’s daughter-in-law, that asked her to work on Trump’s re-election campaign for $15,000 a month. This had a NDA attached to it that was, “as harsh and restrictive as any I’d seen in all my years of television.”
She promptly turned down the offer, but I don’t think Donald Trump got the memo on that either. She gave copies of those documents to “Meet The Press” and Trump must have been watching. He Tweeted after two hours of the last Omarosa Tweet:
Wacky Omarosa already has a fully signed Non-Disclosure Agreement!
Sibling rivalries are just a part of life. When you’re growing up you are always fighting for attention from your parents or fighting for the remote control. At least that’s what I’ve heard. Being an only child, this study might not apply to me. I guess I would be the best and worst driver of my siblings…
Anyways, a study has been conducted by Privilege Car Insurance in which they found that the first-born of their parents are the worst drivers.
Now let’s take a look at men versus women drivers, because chances are you are one of those types of people.
According to a study published in the Springer Journal: Memory & Cognition, men navigate more efficiently than their female counterparts. Basically, men use shortcuts when navigating and women like to take routes that they know.
Alexander Boone of UC Santa Barbara headed the study and I hope that he isn’t on anyone’s hit list just yet.
Boone and his team conducted two experiments which had students perform tasks on a computer. In the first one, they had 68 participants and they were asked to familiarize themselves with a layout of a maze. Basically they had to find their way through the maze by remembering landmarks to get to their destination.
Then the second experiment involved 72 participants who did the same thing as the first test, except they had different versions of the maze. One version had the landmarks in the background and one didn’t. The reasoning here was to understand whether men or women use these landmarks differently when navigating.
The research team also asked all participants to complete a survey involved finding out info such as their sense of direction, the strategies they believe they use to find their way, and whether they often play video games.
Boone explained that:
“As predicted from previous research, these experiments showed that men were more likely to take shortcuts and on average reached their goal location faster than women. In contrast, female participants were more likely to follow learned routes and wander. In both experiments, men were significantly more efficient than women, even after controlling for the effects of strategy.”
The study also concluded that men were better at this task because they got to their destination much quicker. The authors of the study also covered their bases by noting that, “it is important to point out that these are differences in average performance between men and women, and some women were just as efficient as the best male performers.”
“It is also possible that the sex difference in efficiency is due in part to facility with the interface or navigation in virtual environments, as men tend to spend more time playing video games. Overall, our research indicates that the sex difference in navigation efficiency is large, and is partly related to navigation strategy.”
So next time you and your significant other are driving, test this theory out but maybe don’t tell them you are at first. You might be sleeping on the couch if you do…
There is a whole lot of crazy out there in the world. Just look at the what’s going on in politics! Okay that was a cheap shot, I’m sorry but it was just too easy.
With that said, I don’t think there has been much more of a crazed person than this woman in the news in awhile and that’s saying something.
Meet 31-year-old Jacqueline Ades. She is the definition of someone who can’t take a hint.
Look at her mugshot, she doesn’t look crazy at all. Just a little bit insane, right?
According to ABC 15, this all started back in July of 2017. She had been parked outside the victim’s house that she had only been on ONE DATE WITH. He called the police after receiving multiple texts from her even though he had made it very clear he wasn’t interested.
Once police came and asked her to leave, the man continued to receive texts which started to become aggressive. The same thing happened months later in December but the police weren’t able to find her.
Then it got a bit more freaky. Later on in April the victim called the police a third time (you would think a restraining order would have been filed at this point) and that’s the woman broke into the mans house. Thankfully(?) the man was out of the country but he was checking his security cameras and that’s when he saw her inside his house.
Police came and she was taking a bath when they entered. The police also searched her car and found a large butcher knife on the passengers seat. They promptly took her into custody and she was charged with trespassing.
You think that’s where this crazy story ends? Nope! It continues to a crazy obsession that really only psychopaths can make happen. Once she was released from jail that’s when the onslaught of texts began.
These texts aren’t things like, “I love you, we should be together forever.” No they were “Charles Manson” level of crazy.
According to court paperwork she texted things like:
“Don’t ever try to leave me…I’ll kill you…I don’t wanna be a murderer”
“Oh what would I do w ur blood! I’d want to bathe in it. I’m like Hitler…man was a genius.”
Somehow she was interviewed by the media and some of the stuff she said was just as batsh*t crazy as you’d expect. She said, “I felt like I met my soul mate and everything was just the way it was. I thought we would do what everybody else did, but that’s not what happened.”
Now while this happened in Arizona, I have just tell you this because it just makes too much sense. Once she is released she plans to return to Florida! Just when you think Florida can’t produce anything crazier they come out and give us the craziest story of the year so far.
Are you bored at your job? Tired of doing the same old tasks all the time? Well just when you didn’t think the perfect job could exist, this job comes to you courtesy of God’s Little People Cat Rescue.
Normally crazy cat ladies get looked down upon for having so many cats, but that must be because there was no money in it! Oh and the added perk is that you get to pet and snuggle with cats on a Greek Island. The island is called Syros and this all just sounds like something out of the Odyssey to be honest.
This isn’t just a crazy 13 cat household, there are a total of 55 cats that you would have to take care of so this isn’t something you can take that lightly. Just because you got an ugly Christmas sweater with a bunch of cats doesn’t make you qualified.
The job offer was posted on the Facebook page and was quickly to disclaim that “this is genuine and NOT a joke.”
“I am looking for someone who can take over the daily running of my Greek cat sanctuary in my absence. You will have 55 cats in your care and need to be able to overview them all + feed and medicate (big added bonus if you’re trained vet. nurse!). As part of the job you’ll have a fully paid (incl. water & electricity) semidetached modern tiny house with it’s own garden (direct view to the Aegean Sea!) plus a salary. The daily hours is that of a part time job (approx. 4 hours) and the salary reflects the fact that you get the house for free (with everything paid).”
I honestly don’t see cons to this job, everything is paid for and you get to hang out with felines forever.
So what type of person are they really looking for?
“You’ll no doubt thrive best if you are the type of person who appreciates nature and likes tranquility – and rest comfortably in your own company. That said, you’ll never feel lonely in the company of the cats and you’ll be expected to live with a small handful of cats in your house.
From experience the job is most suitable for someone 45+ years of age, who’s responsible, reliable, honest, practically inclined – and really, with a heart of gold! Apart from feeding the cats the cats will also need heaps of love and attention.”
I know a few crazy cat ladies that would be into this job! Here are a few images from the posting:

This summer has been way too hot. No matter what we do how much people complain about global warming, it seems that nothing can convince people that it’s a real thing. Mother Nature just keeps kicking our butts with heat, and we just have to wear less clothes because that’s the only solution it seems.
It’s hotter than hell down in Alabama these days, so 19-year-old Gabrielle Gibson felt like she would wear some shorts (because you know, she can). She left her home to go shopping but that trip was abruptly ended when a security guard approached her. The man then let her know that her outfit was too inappropriate for her to shop there. This is what she was wearing:
I’m thinking the security guard must have been 70-years-old and wanted things like they were in the olden days. These shorts are pretty dang normal looking to me…
“It made me feel humiliated to be honest. I have been shamed and called every name in the book.
I was just trying to have a good day and walk around the mall.”
She continued onto say:
“When I left the house I felt beautiful and happy about myself, but having grown men attack me about what I’m wearing when I’m just trying to walk around and buy things was just so excessive.
They didn’t have to throw me out. Its a sad day when grown men can’t control themselves. I just don’t want anyone feeling like I did.”
I have to agree with her, why can’t people just let people be…people? After the guy told her she couldn’t continue to shop in those clothes, she posted a status on Facebook and the people of the internet obviously sided with her.
She captioned these photos with:
I was literally harassed and kicked out of the [shopping mall] today because of what I’m wearing.
Apparently grown men couldn’t contain themselves so I get kicked out.
Security officer initiated that he was looking at my a*s cheeks and it was a problem.
Don’t look at my a*s then there’s a thought?
I told them i have bigger thighs and it’s just to hot for jeans that I can’t help they ride up a bit.”
She also shared a sign that hangs at the mall where it says people need to be “fully clothed.”
The guard even threatened to call the police which I wish he would have. That would have made this story way better to have cops involved in a short shorts debacle. She concluded her post with:
“From what I seen today everyone had short shorties on.
I mean come on it’s August and 100° outside. I don’t know why I was pinpointed.
I’m just disgusted with the behavior of all these people. I was just having a good time trying to look around. Everyone can share this. This whole incident has made me embarrassed.”
Perhaps in 2019 men will learn to just mind their own business when it comes to fashion.

Somedays we just have to take a step back and think, “How can we make society just a little bit better?” That must have been what Jordan Taylor had thought to himself when he went to work at a grocery store in Baton Rouge, Louisiana earlier this month.
Taylor was stacking products on the shelves when Jack Ryan Edwards came in and wanted to help. Jack Ryan is autistic but that didn’t stop Taylor from loving the extra help.
Jack Ryan’s sister, Delaney Edwards Alwosaibi, got the whole thing on video and was simply amazed by the unselfishness of Taylor. She captioned the video with:
“We all know autism makes going out difficult, and sometimes grocery stores can be a challenge.
This young man took the time to slow down and allow Jack Ryan to help for over 30 minutes, guiding him as he finished his task.”
When Taylor was asked why he did this beautiful act of kindness, he simply said:
“Something in the back of my mind was just like, ‘ask if he wants to help you’.
I was just happy that I could make someone else happy and make their day.”
Delaney also said:
“He could have ignored him. He could have made an excuse and said he couldn’t allow him to help. Instead, he let him have his moment and in turn gave my family a moment we will never forget.”
Now sometimes that could be the end of the story, but it just keeps getting better. Delaney went back to the store to see Taylor and get a photo with him and talk. She found out that Taylor wanted to be a teacher someday. So Delaney used her newly found viral stardom for good and set up a GoFundMe for Taylor.
As of right now, the total is at $123,127 raised!!!!!
Delaney wrote on the GoFundMe’s page:
“Jordan Taylor, an employee of a local supermarket, invited my little brother, Jack Ryan, to help him stock groceries. Jack Ryan, or “Ziggy” as I call him, is diagnosed with autism and often becomes fixated on things. Jack Ryan was watching Jordan stock the coolers when Jordan asked Jack if he’d like to help. The smile on Jack’s face said all of the words that he couldn’t. Jack and Jordan stocked the coolers as a team, Jordan encouring Jack Ryan as he finished each task. Jordan told me he loves math and would like to possibly be an educator someday. All I know is, whatever he decides to do he will excel! Thank you to Jordan for what you did for our Ziggy, we will never forget!”
What has Taylor said about all the newfound attention? He told WAFB:
“Never pictured all this would happen. I was just being me, that’s it. I just wanted to help somebody out, enjoy something.”
Sometimes we just have to be human and do the right thing. That’s all Taylor was trying to do and goodness just followed.
Nobody should ever be singled out for their race, sex or anything in-between. That’s the problem with society these days, everything is so divided. So it’s nice to hear when two people come together and show that goodness is still at the root of all our hearts.
This small act of kindness comes to us from Walmart of all places, when Ebony Harris helped out a regular customer of hers, Angela Peters. While speaking to Peters, which is something Harris does whenever Peters comes to Walmart, she let her know that she went to a nail salon recently. There she had been refused service because her hands shake too much. This is due to Peters’ disability and obviously can’t be helped.
Harris couldn’t believe that so she figured she would make this right in her own way. So instead of taking a lunch break, the two went to a nearby table inside the store and Harris did Peters nails like they were at the salon.
“Ebony is a nice person. I enjoy conversation with her.”
Peters who is 36 has cerebral palsy and has been frequently helped by Harris whenever she is in the store. Harris said:
“I knew her from her coming in here shopping. I’ve helped her shop a couple of times. I just wanted to do her nails and I didn’t want her day to be ruined.”
It was Harris who was nervous because she didn’t want to mess up her nails. Peters apologized for the shaking but Harris was having none of that.
She continued saying:
“I was a little nervous and was shaking because I didn’t want to mess her nails up.”
This all went viral thanks to Tasia Smith who works at the Subway inside the Walmart. She was so taken back by the kind act she was in tears. She took a few photos and posted it on her Facebook and it caught the viral bug.
She captioned the photos with:
“She did great, barely moved & was just so sweet. It’s an absolute shame that they denied her for something so little.”
Walmart put out a statement to ABC News as well, saying:
“Ebony simply wanted to make sure our customer’s day was special, and that’s the kind of person she is — someone with a wonderful attitude who goes the extra mile each day to make those around her feel important. We’re not surprised at her act of kindness. Her service to customers defines the spirit of Walmart, and we couldn’t be more proud.”
Peters had no hard feelings against the nail salon that denied her service also. She said:
“When people do us wrong we must forgive, if not we harbor bitterness. I don’t want anyone fired, I just [want to] educate people that people with different challenges like being in a wheelchair, we can have our own business and get our nails done like anyone else.”
The best part of this friendship is that Peters, Harris as well as Smith have vowed to grab dinner together soon.
And that’s the good power of the internet, something that should be heard by millions!

Charles Brandon claims he can see dead people. He wants you to see them, too.
Ever since the 50 year old moved into his Brooklyn home in 2010, he’s had frequent encounters with what he calls “paranormal beings.” Doors mysteriously open, cups are thrown and ghostly visions appear in his mirrors.
But Brandon doesn’t live in a “haunted house” like you see in the movies, he told AOL.com.
“There’s nothing special about this house — every home has dead people” he said. “Some are just weigh stations or portals for the dead.”
Brandon said he realized after a while that it was not his house that is particularly special or haunted — it’s him.
“They’re trying to get my attention because they think if they get my attention, they will be removed from the house,” he told AOL.com. “The powers that be will take them away. They don’t want to be here in this realm.”
See photos from this story:
He said he has been given a special gift through which he can telepathically communicate with the dead, but he doesn’t know how it happened.
“I think the spirits saw what I was going through — that I just kept taking all the bad things that happened in my life — and they were impressed,” he said. “I’m like a 21st century Job. I’ve been through every trial imaginable.”
Brandon claims he can summon spirits, and he thinks that anyone can see them when they are present.
He wants to share the spirits he sees in his home through his YouTube channel “A Brooklyn Haunting,” where he has shared some of his hundreds of videos:
