After being accused of sexually abusing her while she was younger, Morgan Freeman has recently been blamed for the death of his granddaughter.
Recently, Lamar Davenport was found guilty of killing E’Dena Hines, Freeman’s step-granddaughter.
But it was Davenport’s mother who was the one to originally make the allegation regarding Freeman.
“Morgan Freeman molested her and he caused this. He did this,” Davenport’s mom shouted as she was taken out of court in New York.
“He’s innocent. It was an accident.” she added.

Prior to – as well as during – Davenport’s trial in May of last year, allegations were made that Freeman was involved in a romantic relationship with his step-granddaughter, Hines.
The 33-year-old at one point allegedly texted her boyfriend, Davenport, to share how she had “grandpa feelings.”
Freeman, 80, has denied the claims.
Hines is the granddaughter of Freeman’s first wife, Jeanette Adair Bradshaw.
Davenport, 33, had been convicted of manslaughter in the first degree for the fatal attack on Hines.
In August 2015, Davenport stabbed Hines 25 times in a New York street while shocked witnesses looked on.
And after being sentenced to 20 years in prison with an additional five years of post-release supervision, Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance, Jr. paid tribute to Hines.

“Ambitious and driven, E’Dena Hines was deeply loved by family and friends before her life was brought to a horrific and tragic end by her boyfriend, Lamar Davenport.” he said.
“I would like to thank the prosecutors in my office for securing a prison sentence commensurate with his extraordinarily violent crime, and offer my sympathies to Ms Hines’ loved ones as they continue to mourn.”
On Thursday, Hines mom was seen wiping away tears outside of the courtroom. Davenport had originally been charged with murder in the second degree, but because the defense argued he had been in a drug-induced psychosis during the attack, brought on by his use of PCP.
As he stabbed Hines repeatedly, she reportedly told him: “I love you. I always loved you. God would have wanted this.”
The two had been living in a $700,000+ apartment in New York, which was paid for by Freeman.

Freeman had adopted Hines’ mother, Deena Adair, when he married Jeanette.
When she was just three-years-old, Freeman wrote in an affidavit how Adair and himself acted as a surrogate father who raised the young girl after her parents divorced.
“Throughout E’Dena’s entire lifetime, my daughter Deena Adair and I were the primary sources of support for E’Dena financially, emotionally, mentally and physically,” wrote Freeman.
Throughout the trial, Davenport’s lawyers shared with jurors how Hines and Freeman had a sexual relationship.
About a year ago, CNN released a report where eight women accused Freeman of either sexual harassment or inappropriate behavior.

In the report, sixteen people were interviewed, including those who claim to have witnessed his behavior.
At first, Freeman apologized “to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected,” but then a day later, he said how he was “devastated” over the allegations but claimed how he “did not assault women.”
Currently, Freeman is still slated to be involved in five upcoming projects this year.
